This isn't a catchy title, or maybe it is. My first blog on my new website is just me introducing myself.
Hello, I'm Rohan Samal. I'm 31 years old as of July 2021 and I'm a handicap. Well, I just wanted to get that out of the way, cause I spent my 31st birthday on the hospital bed, unable to move much. I did get a cake or two, from my friends and the hospital staff, which was very very good gesture. It brought a smile on my face, and trust me, smiles were difficult to come by then. (They still are).
I am a journalist and an editor. Always looking to break new stories and write a different take on existing ones. I help out in my family business and am big into investing and managing my money.
One of my life's goals is to travel as much as I can. Before my accident, that included trekking and visiting as many cities all over the world as possible. It's been a few months since the accident and I'm mostly stuck home. It's not a good feeling, but I am really looking forward to 2022.
That's when I get to travel more, to travel for work to events and more importantly, lead a somewhat normal life.
What to expect from my blog?
I'll just be writing about random stuff, talking about politics, new tech, probably a couple of smartphones here and there.
As much as I am interested in investing and money, I won't proclaim myself to be an expert. I'm still learning and while it has reaped me huge rewards till now, its not enough for me to try to 'publish' content.
I'm figuring out my life now and I'd love to share this journey with you.
