Infinite: Worst Implementation of a movie narrative!

The trailer of Infinite will promise a lot. It speaks volumes of a potential sci-fi/fantasy world that has all the buildings for a new lore, for a new multi-series story. And the story is framed really well to set up for a plot that will define how the characters play out. However, when I watched the movie, the entire plot was told within the first one minute. And that - that is the worst decision I have ever seen in a movie in my entire life.

The movie started. But it had already lost all of its charm as the plot was told within the first minute,. I guess the director wanted an action-packed movie, but if you take a sci-fi setting with so much lore to it, and you decide to go action-packed route, then something is just wrong with you. I mean even Fight-Club had more suspense even if that genre is less interesting for me.

Infinite feels like a lost opportunity, one which could have been a multi-part series, but instead was packed into one and all of its charm was lost.

I didn’t like the movie, in fact, I got bored around the one-third mark. Why did I get bored? I already the story. I’d still say, it’s worth one-time watch. You would probably not want to watch it after that. If you are in a hurry, you can watch five minutes and you will have an idea of what the story is.

Yes, you’ll miss out on a few characters here and there, but that’s not really a big deal as the story is laid out within the first few minutes.
